Skilled Education named Ed Tech Provider of the Year at industry leading awards
Skilled Education has been announced as the Ed Tech Provider of the Year at the industry leading 2021 Education Investor awards. The star studded awards took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in central London capped a landmark year for universities, international education companies and investors. Capital provider of the year went to HSBC Bank, EY Parthenon was awarded Deal Making Consultant of the year, Oakley Capital was awarded Investor of the Year, and the Education Provider of Year went to Pearson Education.
The Ed Tech Provider of the Year category saw the most finalists after a transformational year in a market now estimated by analysts Holon IQ to be worth over $160 billion. The judges commended Skilled Education’s “relentless focus on exceptional quality” and ability to “work successfully with the widest variety of partners.” They also noted Skilled’s most recent partnership announcement – a three year deal to design and develop the British government’s flagship upskilling initiative, Help To Grow. The national programme sees Skilled working with over 50 UK business schools to train 30,000 business leaders in critical leadership and management skills and signals massive confidence in this rapidly growing business.
Speaking immediately after the 2021 Education Investor awards CEO of Skilled Education, Rajay Naik, said: “Europe enjoys some of the finest education provision in the world. Much of this will continue to be delivered face-to-face, however, this is increasingly augmented by world-class online learning which improves outcomes, quality and access. All of the outstanding finalists at these awards embrace this vision and Skilled’s success is a testament to our exceptional team and pioneering partners. We will continue to support the shift to exceptional online learning which educates and empowers millions more people across the world.”
